Café Zimmermann

Café Zimmermann proposes an evening of Bach cantatas. The composer is their anchor and they owe their name indirectly to Bach as his Collegium Musicum could often be heard in Gottfried Zimmermann's Leipzig café.

The ensemble of Céline Frisch and Pablo Valetti, dedicated to the music of the 18th century will give pride of place to Sophie Karthäuser and Christian Immler. A chance to hear these two great Bach voices in the immensely well-known “Ich habe genug” , “Liebster Jesu, mein Verlangen” and “Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen” , a music-lover's favourite.
