Young musicians mentored by an established artist.

The Generation @ Aix concert showcases promising young musicians mentored by an established artist, making it a must-see every year at the Easter Festival.

Renaud Capuçon has invited pianist Tanguy de Williencourt, a young musician who plays “with authority and a rich palette of sound” according to Concert Classic. They will also be joined by soprano Jeanne Gérard, winner of numerous awards at the prestigious Maçon International Singing Competition, for a rich performance of Rachmaninov’s Melodies.

The young, highly talented violinist and composer, Elise Bertrand, will perform her own Sonata for violin and piano for the first time ever, as it takes its rightful place in the list of world-famous masterpieces we will hear tonight.
