Each year, the people of Aix look forward to the free concert on Easter Sunday in the Saint-Sauveur cathedral. Previous performers include pianist David Fray, The Knights ensemble, flautist Juliette Hurel, the Camerata Salzburg and the accentus choir.

In 2023, the young Sarbacanes ensemble will feature, led by oboist Gabriel Pidoux, the revelation of the Victoires de la musique classique 2020. They will play iconic Viennese pieces from the end of the 18th to the end of the 19th centuries, between Mozart’s classicism and Schubert and Weber’s Pre-Romanticism, carried by the warm, refined sounds of an unusual formation of a wind octet with double-bass.
