Welcome to an evening of chamber music alla germania at the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume!

Beethoven meets Schumann and Brahms, beautifully rendered by pianist David Fray and cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière, a recent winner of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition.

These regular guests of the Easter Festival will perform from a repertoire in which they are eminently at ease, shaping the sound and nuances of Schumann’s delicate and amusing Fantasiestücke, the almost classical precision of Beethoven’s Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major and the romantic passions of Brahms’ Cello Sonata No. 1 Op. 38.
