Unanimously lauded for his performance of the repertoire of his native Italy, Gianandrea Noseda manifests also a real predilection for Russian composers, having spent ten years in the prestigious Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg as main guest conductor. This programme brings together Rachmaninov 's Second Piano Concerto with Rimski-Korsakov 's Scheherazade.
