Carte Blanche à Renaud Capuçon

BEETHOVEN, TRIPLE CONCERTO

Edgar Moreau is a regular guest at the Easter Festival and has made appearances at almost every festival since 2013. He per.forms with Beatrice Rana, the rising piano star from Italy, whose performance of the Goldberg Variations at Aix in 2017 was, accord.ing to Télérama , “imbued with a well-balanced blend of light and sensuality”.

Renaud Capuçon and the Camerata Salzburg join this lively, spirited pair to perform Beethoven's famed Triple concerto, an exceptional piece where each of the protagonists makes fleeting connections with the orchestra. Between two Romances for violin and orchestra, the Austrian ensemble will treat us to its powerful, authentic interpretation of the overflowing energy of the Symphony n°1, a piece that was composed with the same verve as his master, Haydn.
