Generation @ AIx

This is the gamble of an exceptional generation associated with experienced musicians.

This is inspired by Adolf Busch and Rudolf Serkin in the beautiful spirit of the Marlboro Music Festival in the United States to enable generations to blend and exchange ideas.

There will be several rehearsal days in Aix-en-Provence and the pleasure of hearing some chamber music together.

They are barely twenty years old and come from Russia, Germany, France or Bulgaria:

3 violinists: Mariella Haubs , Liya Petrova and Valeriy Sokolov ,

2 viola players: Léa Hennino and Adrien La Marca ,

2 cellists: Edgar Moreau and Yan Levionnois.

They will play Saint-Saëns and Chausson with Franck Braley and James Ehnes , or Brahms with Gérard Caussé , Nicholas Angelich and Renaud Capuçon.

Génération @ Aix , is the certitude that the new generation is here, that it has already begun to dazzle us and it will be in Aix-en-Provence, at the Easter Festival that it will really take off.
