Bach, St John Passion

Musica Saeculorum was founded in 2012 and is one of the most promising ensembles that brings together soloists and musicians from all over Europe with the conductor, Philipp von Steinaecker. After a brilliant career as a cellist, he showed promise as a conductor alongside Claudio Abbado and John Eliot Gardiner. On Good Friday, they perform St John Passion , Bach 's grandiose masterpiece.
