Kit Armstrong
With his youthful figure and his sovereign modesty, Kit Armstrong made quite an impression last year when he replaced Krystian Zimerman at the last minute. Such a triumph surely deserved an invitation to return and perform a recital during which his own music will be heard alongside that of Bach and Sweelinck.
An accolade for a young prodigy who composes with such ease that he left even his own mentor and teacher, the great Alfred Brendel, slightly perplexed.
A huge talent to (re)discover at the Easter Festival!
