Tribute to Yehudi Menuhin
The violinist Yehudi Menuhin was born a century ago and marked the history with passionate performances along with his thirst for passing his skills to young people and the public at large. Who better than Daniel Hope , one of his last and closest pupils to pay him homage?
The British prodigy has concocted a programme where each piece lights up a part of Menuhin's personality, going from Bach to Enesco and Ravel, whose Kaddish is a nod to the master's Jewish heritage.
