Aix Easter Festival is one of the rare events worldwide that brings together so much talent in one concert: experienced musicians associated with impressive new talents, as the festival's philosophy demands. In the former group we have Martha Argerich , one of the century's top three pianists according to Karajan, Maxim Vengerov , a true genius of the violin and of course Renaud Capuçon. The second group includes musicians that have become regulars on the Aix stage: the violinist Guillaume Chilemme, the viola player Adrien La Marca , the cellist Edgar Moreau or the pianist Khatia Buniatishvili.
The evening will pay homage to one of the 20th century's greatest violinists: Ivry Gitlis.
