Concert for Aix
Every year, the Festival puts on a concert for the people of Aix on Easter Sunday.
The world-renowned flautist Juliette Hure l is one of the top figures in her field. For a programme of nothing but Bach, (Trio sonatas, Orchestral suites, Cantatas), she will be joined by the ensemble Les Surprises , a sparkling group of musicians put together in 2010 by Juliette Guignard and Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas, with the aim of highlighting “surprising” baroque pieces that have been forgotten about.
