MOZART, CLARINET CONCERTO

ANDREAS OTTENSAMER, ORCHESTRE DE CHAMBRE DE PARIS

Dubbed “the most exciting clarinettist in recent years” (Libération) , Andreas Ottensamer is still in his thirties and has already ticked every box a musician can dream of. Soloist at the prestigious Berlin Philharmonic at the tender age of 27, artistic director of a festival in Switzerland, under exclusive contract with Deutsche Gramophon, our prodigy, who comes from a large family of musicians, is not afraid to cross lines, playing with pop artists as easily as he does with prestigious orchestras.

On stage, with the Orchestre de chambre de Paris , with conductor Elena Schwartz , the young assistant conductor at the Philharmonique de Radio-France, he will perform Mozart 's Concerto for clarinet , composed only months before the composer's death, a piece that combines sensuality with volcanic virtuosity. La Clemenza di Tito , Mozart's final tragic opera, and Beethoven 's Symphony No. 2 round out an evening that is sure to be moving.
