To close the Mozart Week at Aix, Rolando Villazón and Renaud Capuçon come back together with the Camerata Salzburg.
Praised for his “inimitable tone, that tends toward a dark, warm colour” (Le Figaro) , Villazón, the tenor, has been broadening his horizons into other areas next to his dazzling operatic career: directing, theatre and music shows, operatic recitals. His performance of Mozart's famed arias promises to be a treat for the senses.
Renaud Capuçon will play the Violin concerto No. 3, that makes for a magnificent dialogue between soloist and orchestra thanks to the elegant expressiveness of the music, devoid of ornate virtuosity.
