Zukerman Trio

Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven

Welcome to a night of German chamber music at the Jeu de Paume theatre, where Beethoven meets Schumann and Brahms, featuring pianist Shai Wosner’s exquisite touch and the enchanted and enchanting bows of Amanda Forsyth and Pinchas Zukerman.

A peerless musician, Zukerman combines “absolute commitment with prodigious technique” (La Presse), and has performed all over the world with the greatest artists of his generation such as Daniel Barenboim, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Itzhak Perlman. Schumann’s sparkling Fantasiestücke Op.12, a firm favourite with all cellists, opens the performance, followed by Brahms’ Piano Trio n°2 and Beethoven’s ‘Ghost’ Trio.
