Brahms Sextets

Renaud and Gautier Capuço n in tandem with the Hagen siblings, Veronika the viola player and Clemens the cellist, along with the French viola player Gérard Caussé , an Easter Festival regular and the young Austrian violinist Christoph Koncz , will perform Brahms ' two Sextets (written in 1860 and 1864). These warm, expressive pieces provide finely kneaded sonorities for the smooth consistency of the strings.

The musicians' natural complicity augurs well for a final result that is worthy of these two profound and romantic pieces.
