Bamberger Symphoniker Jakub Hrůša

The Bamberger Symphoniker , an orchestra founded in 1946 in one of Bavaria's most beautiful cities, is truly the custodian of German musical savoir-faire. Having succeeded Jonathan Nott last autumn, the young conductor Jakub Hrůša brings a Czech touch to the Germanic sound of the ensemble.

As for Nelson Freire, he is without a doubt, along with his great friend Martha Argerich, one of South America's most brilliant pianists, perfectly at ease with Beethoven 's Piano concerto No. 4 , a virtuoso and secretive piece. Brahms ' Symphony n°4 , his ultimate symphonic page, is an homage from the most traditional of the romantics to Bach, the eternal master of German music.
