LAHAV SHANI, RENAUD CAPUÇON, KIAN SOLTANI

TCHAÏKOVSKI & DVORÁK

Genius is the watchword in a meeting between Renaud Capuçon , Lahav Shani and Kian Soltani.

Shani is a 29-year-old pianist and conductor that can go from conducting a Mahler symphony to performing a piano concerto.

Soltani , a cellist, captivated the audience of Génération@ Aix and critics praise “ his disarming stage presence, with a blend of great intensity and vulnerable intimacy ” (Südwest Presse).

Their sensibility is a perfect match for Dvorak 's Piano trio n° 3 , a piece that serenely evokes the popular music of Bohemia. Tchaikovsky 's Piano trio is dedicated to the memory of the pianist Nicolas Rubinstein and each of the variations on a theme in the form of an orthodox chant is in a different genre, to reflect the facets of his personality.
