A group that blends young promising talent and established musicians, the Festival de Prades Chamber Orchestra goes from a colorful Shostakovich to the most romantic repertoire.
Multitalented Pierre Bleuse has been Artistic Director of the Prades Casals Festival since 2021 as well as Musical Director of the Ensemble Intercontemporain since 2023, and has been referred to by Radio France as “one of the greatest conductors of his generation”. This year’s edition of the Easter Festival welcomes him along with the Festival de Prades Chamber Orchestra. They will perform Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 (“The Great”) and Shostakovich’ Cello Concerto No.1 with superstar cellist Gautier Capuçon.
