Pastoral Symphony

Beethoven had an infinite love of nature and nowhere is it more evident than in his Pastoral Symphony. This version, created for an illustrator and six musicians, brings this wonderful music to life, awakening all of the senses of young music lovers.
Illustrator Grégoire Pont has developed a unique technique for creating drawings to music, in real time. His unique work provides an entertaining accompaniment to Beethoven’s compositions as performed by the Fidelio Quartet along with violist Gérard Caussé, an Easter Festival habitué and cellist Caroline Sypniewski. Before our eyes, the five movements of the Pastoral Symphony become a living nature tableau of extreme beauty endangered by human exploitation.
