Mozart's string quintets

Renaud Capuço n and Gérard Caussé have been friends and music partners for a long time. They appeared at Aix in 2013 to the delight of the musicloving public, and naturally, are returning for the 2014 edition of the Easter Festival, to be joined by other friends in a cross-generational blend aimed at truly opening things up. So they will welcome Alina Ibragimova and the young Léa Hennino who also appeared in 2013 in Aix-en-Provence. Clemens Hagen will also be joining them. He is Salzburg-born and speaks Mozart's language fluently.

His four partners will perform a complete programme of string quintets for two violas from the Austrian master, which will take them from the prestigious Salzburg Mozart Woche in January to the Easter Festival in April.
