Maxim Vengerov
In 2007, a shoulder injury caused a break in a faultless career that began twenty five years previously. But Maxim Vengerov used this period of uncertainty to launch a career as a conductor and his great return as a soloist on the world scene. Today the violinist is still at the height of his virtuosity, no less a magician than ten years ago; but he has gained an unprecedented level of concentration, a new maturity, an unsuspected depth. In Aix, Vengerov will play with Roustem Saïtkoulov.
