Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Robin Ticciati

Robin Ticciati, ex-protégé of Colin Davis and Simon Rattle can do no wrong. He has just been hired to head the prestigious Glyndebourne Festival and has one of the most delightful relationships with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra – the Daily Telegraph described their association as “one of the greatest collaborations in British music”.
The Orchestra just turned forty and is considered to be one of the world's best chamber orchestras. It will tackle two monuments of musical literature from the early 19th century: Schubert 's Symphony n°9 , the peak of the composer's orchestral art, and the Concerto for violin by Beethoven , with no less than Renaud Capuçon.
