Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra - Gustavo Dudamel

Northward with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra , one of Europe's oldest orchestras! Under the long-term direction of Neeme Järvi (1982- 2003), it earned its place among the greatest European orchestras. It must be said that it knows how to choose the best people to work with: such as Gustavo Dudamel , who was Music Director from 2007 ill 2012. The young conductor in his thirties appeared like a meteorite on the European stage in 2004 and he is on his fifteenth season of a career that spans all continents. In Venezuela, of course where he trained as part of “El Sistema”; but also in North America with the Los Angeles Philharmonic where he has been Music Director since 2009. He is now considered to be one of the most charismatic conductors of his generation.

To begin, a symphonic poem by Strauss entitled Till Eulenspiegel followed by Mozart 's Symphony n°38 “Prague” , ending with Sibelius ' Second Symphony , a composer with whom the Gothenburg Symphony orchestra is totally at home.
