Mantovani Portrait
Tonight's concert brings together three great names of French music: Renaud Capuçon , Marc Coppey and Varduhi Yeritsyan. They have chosen an intergenerational programme that mirrors the composition of the trio. Varduhi Yeritsyan has become one of the greatest performers of Bruno Mantovani 's works. In 2009, the piece Dédale was dedicated to her.

Every year, Aix Easter Festival commissions a new work by a leading international composer: German clarinettist Jörg Widmann in 2013, Frenchman Bruno Mantovani in 2014. Renaud Capuçon will perform his highly anticipated new violin solo.
